A 12-year-old was struck by a vehicle at a McDonalds on Sunday night. (Photo by David Day)

A 12-year-old was hit by a car at McDonald’s on Iowa Blvd. and Highway 61 South at 10:05 p.m. Sunday.

The vehicle that hit him is on the scene. The child was responsive and alert.

EMS is on the scene treating the child and police are investigating the incident.
