17-year-old charged with capital murder in Jackson

A 17-year-old has been charged with capital murder in Jackson over the weekend.

The Jackson Police Department announced that Jordan Selvage was arrested on Friday for the May 11 murder of 18-year-old Gabriel Warren.

Authorities were dispatched to Long Street at Bon Air Street around 4:00 a.m. where they found Warren’s body inside a burned vehicle. Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart reported that Warren had been shot.
