18-wheeler fire reported on North Washington

An 18-wheeler fire was reported just before 11 a.m. on North Washington Street, near the old entrance to the Military Park by the three cannons.

While the cab has been completely destroyed by the fire, the attached trailer appears to have remained untouched by the flames. The driver was able to exit the vehicle safely.

North Washington Street has been temporarily closed to traffic while emergency services address the situation and ensure the scene is safe. Commuters are advised to seek alternative routes and exercise caution in the vicinity.
