Two-time National Champion PRCC cheer to host future and past Wildcat cheerleaders

The two-time UCA National Champion Pearl River Community College cheer team will host two great on-campus events this fall.

Aspiring cheerleaders will have a chance to learn from the Pearl River Community College cheer team during the Little Wildcats Cheer Clinic on Oct. 7. Our Little Wildcat cheerleaders will perform before our home game against Jones College on Oct. 12.

The PRCC cheer team is inviting back all alumni cheerleaders for the annual “Cat Fight” on Oct. 12. Our alumni cheerleaders will cheer on the Wildcats during the second quarter of the contest.

To register, visit Each participant must complete a PRCC Medical Treatment and Liability Form, which can be found at

The Little Wildcat Cheer Clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The clinic is open to cheerleaders ages 3-12. The cost is $40 and includes a t-shirt and a snack. Participants will perform alongside the PRCC cheer team at Dobie Holden Stadium before PRCC’s home contest against Jones College on Oct.12. The deadline to register is Sept. 27.


The PRCC Cheer Alumni Game will take place on Oct. 12 during our annual “Cat Fight” against Jones College. The cost is $25, and participants will receive a t-shirt. PRCC cheer will host an optional clinic in Shivers Gymnasium on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and pick up their t-shirt during this time. The deadline to register is Sept. 27.

PRCC Cheer Alumni Game 2023

The PRCC cheer team, under the direction of coach Sarah Smith, has won the past two UCA Open All-Girl National Championships. Over the past two seasons, nine PRCC cheerleaders have signed National Letters of Intent with four-year institutions, including Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky University.
