2019 Gulfport bank robbery leads to arrest of Alabama woman

The suspect in a bank robbery which took place in Gulfport, MS on March 22, 2019, recently entered a plea of guilty in court.
According to a report by WLBT, Iconic Facce entered a guilty plea for two counts of robbing BancorpSouth. The plea was entered in prior to the trial which was scheduled for June 28, 2021.
WLBT states that court documents show a handwritten note by Facce which read, “you have 1 min to give the money do not be wrong are die.”
Bank tellers complied with the threatening request, which was caught on video by the bank’s surveillance system.
An abandoned vehicle was reported near BancorpSouth, in which someone matching Facce’s description was seen leaving the vehicle earlier that day.
Investigators located the owner of the vehicle, which was Facce, of Ashford, Alabama. Both tellers who were threatened by Facce were immediately able to spot them from a photo lineup.
Facce was arrested at the Houston International Airport while attempting to re-enter the country on March 30 and was later sentenced by Circuit Judge Randy Peresich Muller for 15 years for each count. The sentencing was ordered to run concurrently.
