2022 Mike Kavanaugh Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot

The Mike Kavanaugh Memorial Clay Shoot has been tweaked this year, based on feedback received from past participants. The event is set to begin Mar. 5.

This year, there will be a European Rotation, four-man teams & 100 Targets. This will be available for shooters of all levels and NSCA shooters.

Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. Those who participate will have the opportunity to enter to win a gun valued at $2,500 or more, courtesy of The Range by Jimmy Promos. The prize will be displayed at the shoot. Check in from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and begin shooting immediately after check-in. No shooters will be added after 10:45 a.m.

Lunch and awards will be presented after the shoot. The winning participant must be present to claim the prize.

A live auction will also be one of the attractions. A one-of-a-kind A/R created by Dawn of Defense in memory of Mike Kavanaugh will be unveiled at the shoot. Terry Hawkins, a good friend of Kavanaugh, will serve as the live auctioneer.

Shooter/Sponsor Info:

• $150 for an Individual Shooter
• $500 for a 4 Man Team
• $1500 for a 4 Man Team, Stand Sponsorship,GUN from The Range by Jimmy Primos AND 4 entries into the Gun drawing to be held at the event).
• The $1500 sponsor can add a team(s) for $500 each.

Proceeds will support two Non-profits:

One is 7 Days for the Troops with the purchase of an Action Track Chair for a disabled Veteran and the Southern Heritage Air Foundation in purchasing a Flight Simulator for their Education Program.
