20th annual Breakfast with Santa underway, tickets still available

The Vicksburg Convention Center and VenuWorks of Vicksburg presented the 20th Annual Breakfast with Santa Saturday morning.

Executive Director of the Vicksburg Convention Center, Erin Southard, expressed her excitement for the 20th anniversary event.

“We are excited to be able to kind of come back as a normal togetherness again this year that we didn’t have last year,” Stated Southard. “It’s just a great event, it’s a great community time of togetherness, celebrating a wonderful time of the year and getting to see the big guy in red,” she later added.

Activities at the event include a socially distanced meeting and photo with Santa at his desk, crafts to take home, door prizes galore and McDonald’s breakfast. Santa will be giving away his bag of toys and electronics ($500 value) to the lucky winner of the raffle. Tickets/space is limited. Breakfast tickets are still available for $10 until the event ends. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or the Vicksburg Convention Center box office. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
