3 charged with kidnapping related to missing 14-year-old

3 people have been charged with kidnapping in the disappearance of a 14-year-old ward of the state.
The 14-year-old came up missing several days ago and an alert was sent to the community.
Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace explains, “The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Department of Human Services, Child protective services several days ago that a 14-year-old female that was in the custody of child protective services had left home. We put out that broadcast to other agencies and we have been looking for the child.”
The Sheriff continued, “We let it be widely known, including social media posts on our social media account, that any adult that was knowingly harboring this child could face criminal charges. We located the child this morning just after 9 a.m. at a residence here in Warren County. After consulting with the District Attorney we’ve charged 3 adults at that residence with kidnapping.”
Charged are David Dewayne Roach, 44, Kodie Mathew Hill, 22, Meggan Nicole Williamson, 18.
Because the juvenile was in the state’s custody by court order, the child was prohibited from giving her consent or permission to be anywhere other than where the court has placed her.
All three appeared before Warren County Justice Court Randy Lewis who set bail at $50,000 each. This case will be reviewed by the March term of the Grand Jury.
The 14-year-old has been returned to the custody of Child Protective Services.
