32nd annual Over the River Run scheduled

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation is excited to present the 32nd annual Over the River Run.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, starting at 8 a.m. and will begin at the Old Mississippi River Bridge located at Interstate 20 and Washington Street.

This unique run follows a scenic course heading west across the Mississippi River to Delta, Louisiana, and then returns to the finish line. The event features a 5-mile run and a 5-mile walk.

Registration information and more details about the race will be released soon.

COVID-19 precautions will be put into place to protect participants, volunteers and spectators. Organizers hope everyone appreciates these efforts and follows the guidelines to help protect the well-being of those who are gathering and racing.
