Smoke billows from a home on Farmer Street early Wednesday morning

First responders are on the scene for a call of a structure fire on Farmer Street as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Occupants appear to be evacuated from the home. No injuries were reported.

Michael Whitley, Adam 51, responded to the call and saw smoke coming from the home. Two men were reportedly on the porch flagging down emergency response upon arrival.

As of this initial reporting, emergency crews from the Vicksburg Fire Department and Vicksburg Police Department are still working the scene.

Please avoid this area if possible and allow crews to clear the area.
