A Keeper of “The Dream”

Vicksburg  Post featured my brother  and his connection to our family on the front page of the publication, in an attempt to deter Dr. Lassiter from continuing to work with the movement.  However, this attempt was not successful, as my father’s work as “foot soldier” never faltered. So during the turbulent times of the ‘60s and afterwards, throughout his life, in his own quiet, yet powerful manner, Dr. Lassiter was truly a keeper of  Dr. King’s dream.]]]]> ]]>
