A Major Loss of Water Pressure

On the south side of the city.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of businesses and residents on the south side of Vicksburg are reporting low water pressure.  Normally a leak of this magnitude signifies a main line leak.

Numerous crews are out looking for the cause of the leak.  Vicksburg Daily News is in contact with the city and will keep you updated as information becomes available.

At this point, there have been no notices posted on water safety.
