‘A Night in Paris’ New Year’s Eve Ball to benefit students
Each year the David L. Hubbard Foundation awards scholarships to several deserving students from Vicksburg.
These scholarships go to aid students in purchasing textbooks, paying for housing and taking care of other expenses that come along with the first year of college.
To help raise funds for these scholarships, the foundation hosts events throughout the year including a hot dog dinner, banquets and other community gatherings.
Ringing in 2020, the foundation is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Ball at the Vicksburg Convention Center (1600 Mulberry St.) on Dec. 31, starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30.
This year’s theme is “A Night in Paris” and everyone over 21 is welcome. Parisian-themed attire is encouraged.
