"A War For Your Soul" – Free Event TONIGHT at Vicksburg City Auditorium




Reginald Bullock released the short film, A War for Your Soulover the internet. In 2 years, the film has been viewed by over 10 million people. The film is being shown on over 10,000 websites, and has now reached Ghana, UK, Israel and many Caribbean Islands. The film, originally targeted towards at-risk African American youth, leaves viewers asking themselves, “How can I help my community?”  The video has garnered enormous praise for sparking important dialogue and encouraging adults to play a more active role in educating children. A filmmaker and public speaker, Reggie Bullock is a vibrant voice and accomplished role model for the youth of today. Born the eldest of two children in the Bronx New York during the 60’s civil rights movement. During the 80’s, Reggie graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University and later began his professional career working with students who were academically at-risk at St. Thomas More School in Connecticut, where he began developing educational short films to maintain the interest of his students in various subject matters. In 1994 Reginald became the Multicultural Director at the Norwich Free Academy, working with minority students and serving as a liaison between students and the local community. On Oct. 14th, 2009, top radio personality Michael Baisden said that “A War for Your Soul is a must see film.”  In addition, Reginald recently received the distinguished “Key to the City” award from cities of Macon GA , Riviera Beach FL. And Corpus Christi TX. In two years, Reginald’s work has been publicly acknowledged by 4 mayors and 8 City Councils throughout the United States.
