Abby Morgan and Braxton McCurley named as WC’s softball and baseball team MVPs

Warren Central High School athletes Abigail Morgan and Braxton McCurley were named Most Valuable Players for the baseball and softball teams.
Morgan, the Lady Vikes softball pitcher, dominated on the mound this season under Head Coach Dana McGivney. She also finished the season with a .516 battle average along with 16 RBIs.
McCurley, the Vikings center fielder, had a .354 batting average under Head Coach Randy Broome. He led the Vikings to the first round of the playoffs this season and was chosen as the top player on the team.
Both athletes received their awards at the schools athletic banquet and both will be returning to lead the Vikings next season.
