I-20 shut down due to multi-vehicle pile up near Clinton

WLBT reports that Clinton police are responding to a multiple vehicle accident on eastbound Interstate 20 near the Natchez Trace.

According to WLBT Clinton police are saying that at least five of the vehicles involved were 18-wheelers but there were no serious injuries.

At this time all eastbound lanes are closed as first responders work the scene.  MDOT is estimating at least 3 hours before traffic clears in the area.
