Agape Montessori students thank local police and firefighters in honor of 9-11

Agape Montessori Christian Academy students paid a special thank you to first responders, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

On Friday, students of the Academy lined up and greeted local firefighters and officers and offered thanks for their service and sacrifice to the community.

“This is thank you to all our first responders,” stated Agape Montessori teacher Dean Anderson. “Also, 9-11 – 20th anniversary. We’ve been studying all this and we actually watched a commentary – a movie – about it and just the reality; where were we during that time period. We told them where we were at the time, and we’ve got to give back to all those people who give to us.”
