Agnes Teresa McCaffrey Marshall, 1947 – 2022

Agnes Teresa McCaffrey Marshall died Sunday, July 10 at Vicksburg Convalescent Home in Vicksburg. She was 75 years old.

Mrs. Marshall was born in Vicksburg on January 29, 1947, to the late Patrick S. McCaffrey and Agnes Fowler McCaffrey. She was a 1965 graduate of St. Francis Xavier School. Mrs. Marshall began her career at Waterways Experiment Station and retired after 26 years with the Corps of Engineers. Mrs. Marshall was an active member and communicant of St. Michael Catholic Church. She was a member of Sodality and Mercy Associates.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her spouse Charles “Charlie” M. Marshall and her son-in-law, Matthew A. Peters.

She is survived by her children; son, Michael T. Marshall (Angela); daughter, Catherine M. Peters; four grandchildren, Timothy Marshall, Lauren Scott (Barrett), Logan Marshall, and Addison Marshall, a great-grandson, Caden Marshall and a great-granddaughter Elizabeth Scott; her brothers, Patrick S. McCaffrey, Jr. (Sherrie); Timothy J. McCaffrey (Donna): aunt Inez Kellicut: nephew Kelly P. McCaffrey (Kim) and great-nephew Noah McCaffrey.

Services will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, at St. Michael Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. and Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 11 a.m..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be St. Michael Catholic Church, Alzheimer’s Association or your favorite charity.
