VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN)-University of Alabama quarterback Bryce Young has reportedly signed endorsement deals worth nearly a cool million. The 20-year-old former five-star prospect is expected to earn starting quarterback this season, which starts in Miami on Sep. 4 against the Hurricanes.

Without starting a single game for the Crimson Tide, Young is reported to have signed over $800,000 worth of endorsement deals, with offers on the table worth over $1 million.

The NCAA rules allowing athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness went into effect on July 1.  Young wasted no time and signed with Creative Artists Agency on July 2.

In the month since, Young has reportedly picked up deals with Cash App, Leaf, Wild Card and Onyx.

A true freshman in 2020, Young played in nine games, where he completed 13 of 22 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown.
