Alcorn coach Pat White leaving for South Florida

Alcorn State University quarterbacks coach Pat White is leaving to join the University of South Florida staff.

White has coached two standout quarterbacks at Alcorn in his two seasons with the school: Noah Johnson and Felix Harper. Both players helped the Braves win the SWAC championship.

White played football at West Virginia in 2009 and ended the season with 1,844 passing yard, 21 touchdowns, 974 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns.

He was inducted into the West Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
