Alcorn County missing teens found safe

Alcorn County teenagers Danny Seals and Summer Blades have been found. Alcorn County Sheriff Ben Caldwell confirmed on Monday the two were located and safe.

17-year-old Danny Seals along with his girlfriend 16-year-old Summer Blades were last seen on Saturday in a 2007 silver Toyota 4-Runner with damage to the right front bumper at a Mapco gas station on Highway 72 east in Corinth.

Seals’ father told Tippah News that his son left Jacinto to take Blades home in Kossuth at around 10 p.m. and that Life360 placed him at the gas station at 10:15 p.m. “We guess getting gas,” he said. “His phone is dead and there has been no contact with him since.”

Blades’ father made an emotional plea on social media, saying “probably the hardest thing I’ll ever do but please all my friends share this and be on the look out my daughter Summer is missing. Last known location was Mapco in Corinth around 10:15 with her bf. They’re in a silver 2007 Toyota 4 runner tag number is on the post. If you see them or know anything please let me or my wife know.”
