Alcorn State SGA president arrested

The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Stirgus III yesterday, Sept. 26.
Stirgus, a 2016 graduate of Vicksburg High School, is Alcorn State University’s Student Government Association president. He faces charges of possessing a gun and a controlled substance, marijuana, on campus.
Stirgus posted $10,000 bail and was released.
