Alcorn State University softball team off to a good start.

Alcorn State University’s softball team is off to a good start as they now sit at a 4-2 record in their first six games.

The Lady Braves popped the season off with a 13-0 win over Kentucky State University.

During the River City Classic, ASU found success by knocking off Xavier and Southeastern Baptist in Vicksburg.

The Lady Braves will look to continue their play this weekend when they participate in the River City Classic II on February 18.
