Alexander and Thompson both had two touchdowns on Friday

On Friday night, two local athletes, TJ Thompson and Ronnie Alexander, scored twice for their teams and made a heavy impact in the games.

Thompson finished with 100 rushing yards for Warren Central and scored twice from a 18 yard run and a 33 yard reception in the team’s 30-20 loss to Northwest Rankin.

Alexander threw the ball for 198 yards and two touchdowns. He hit Tyler Henderson for a 60 yarder and Johnny Smith for a 12 yard touchdown late in the game.

WC will host Pearl on Friday while VHS will play at home against Ridgeland.
