The Mississippi State Department of Health made the decision to close vaccination sites and reschedule appointments for those seeking to have the COVID-19 vaccine that were scheduled for Wednesday.

The Vicksburg-Warren area is expected to be impacted by significant weather with a risk of tornadoes, which prompted the decision by the State Health Department.

Those with pending appointments may expect an email, text, message or a phone call to inform them of when their appointment may be rescheduled.
