Altercation leads to shooting in Kings

Thursday at around 8 a.m., an altercation on King’s Street in Kings resulted in a shooting and the arrest of a Vicksburg Woman.

A call of shots fired led police to the King’s Community. Vicksburg police arrested a suspect, Deloris Thomas, 28, who allegedly shot at another individual after an altercation.

Thomas was charged with aggravated assault domestic violence and was arraigned in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday. Judge Angela Carpenter set a $15,000 bond and bound the case over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
