Amber Gaston scored 11 points in FAU victory Friday

Former Warren Central High School basketball player and current Florida Atlantic University player Amber Gaston had a great game against Florida International University Friday.

Gaston scored 11 points in the game to help her team to a 73-69 win over FIU. She also played great defense, snagging five rebounds for the Owls.

Gaston is a former WC star player where she led the Vikings to many victories before signing with FAU in 2018. She is currently in her junior season and is an impact player for her team.

Gaston and FAU will be back in action Friday, Jan. 22, when they face the University of Charlotte.
