A Vicksburg man has been sentenced in the Warren County Circuit for his role in a 2022 drug bust investigation.

Ambus Wallace pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to 10 years, with five to serve, by Judge James Chaney. He was represented by Mike Bonner, who requested the court to send Wallace to drug court. Branan Southerland prosecuted the case.

In March 2022, Wallace was captured at a home on Victory Avenue where the Vicksburg Police Department seized over 11 pounds of marijuana valued at $55,000, ecstasy with a street value of about $7,000, cocaine worth about $3,500, codeine, along with weapons and around $9,000 in cash. Wallace was charged with felony possession of marijuana.
