Madison’s Andi Sisk to be showcased in Times Square for NDSS Down Syndrome presentation

Madison, Mississippi’s very own 4-year-old, Andi Sisk, is about to grace two gigantic Jumbotron screens in the bustling heart of New York’s Times Square. Andi is set to be a part of the annual National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Times Square Video presentation, WLBT reports.
This one-hour presentation showcases a montage of nearly 500 photographs that celebrates the lives of individuals with Down syndrome from all across the United States. According to the NDSS, this powerful collection of images “promotes the value, acceptance, and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome,” sending a message that resonates far and wide.
Andi’s photograph was chosen from 2,400 global submissions in the NDSS’s call for photos. Her image will be displayed prominently above the Dos Caminos restaurant in Father Duffy Square.
Those interested in catching a glimpse of this moving presentation can tune in to the NDSS Facebook page for a live-stream on Sep. 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. ET. The initiative seeks to create awareness, foster understanding and champion the cause of inclusivity for individuals with Down Syndrome.
