Warren Central High School softball player Annalyn Nevels was selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game.

Nevels is currently a junior for the Lady Vikings where she is a pitcher playing under head coach Dana McGivney. She will be playing for the North team in the All-Star Game and will be joined by other exceptional players who were selected to play in the prestigious game.

“Softball is my passion and pride. I eat, sleep and play softball,” Nevels said. She loves everything from the atmosphere to interacting with other teams, not to mention being around a team and coaches that she loves.

Nevels got her love of the sport honestly.  “Softball has always been played throughout my family, and to carry it on means the world to me! I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support from my coaches and family!”

The All Star Game will be held on June 4-5 at Jones Community College.
