Another vehicle stolen from Circle K
Yet another vehicle has been stolen from the Circle K on Washington Street by Ameristar Casino.
At about 4:45 p.m. Vicksburg-Warren 911 dispatched Vicksburg police to the Circle K at 4150 Washington Street for a reported stolen vehicle. They issued a region wide BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for the vehicle. The vehicle was a 2008 Dodge Charge (white in color) with a Mississippi Specialized Barber tag.

At about 5:15 p.m. the Clinton Police Department spotted the vehicle and attempted to affect a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to yield and a subsequent chase ensued. The pursuing officers lost sight of the vehicle in the Robinson Road area.
Subsequently Jackson Police located the vehicle in a wrecked condition. It is unclear as of this writing if anyone has been taken into custody in relation to this incident.
There have been a number of vehicle stolen from this same location in recent weeks. All have involved people leaving their keys in the ignition while entering the store.
