VICKSBURG, MS – The Rocky Horror Show returns to the Strand Theatre beginning tomorrow night, Friday, October 19, starting at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s back! Yes Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show returns to the stage of the Strand Theatre with old friends as well as fresh blood as they attempt, once more, to answer the question: “They can’t really do that here, can they?” said the Strand Theatre in the announcement of this year’s run.

Costumes are encouraged, and best costume for each night will receive $100.

Performances on October 19 and 20, October 25 and 26 will begin at 7:30 p.m., with a special ‘midnight’ (11:59) performance on October 31.

The Rocky Horror Show is a cult-classic musical that premiered in 1973, written by Richard O’Brien. The show combines elements of horror, science fiction, and campy humor, following the story of a young couple, Brad and Janet, who stumble upon the eccentric Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s mansion. Inside, they witness a wild and bizarre cast of characters, including the doctor’s creation, Rocky. Famous for its audience participation, iconic songs like “Time Warp,” and celebration of non-conformity, The Rocky Horror Show has become a beloved staple of live theater and midnight movie screenings worldwide.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets are available at 61 Coffee and online here. The Strand Theatre is located at 717 Clay Street.
