One injured in stabbing at Apple Orchard Apartments

A woman was injured Saturday night in an altercation that took place at Apple Orchard Apartments, located at 902 Blossom Lane in Warren County.

Just after 10 p.m., E-911 received a call about a disturbance at the apartments in which someone had been injured, according to Sheriff Martin Pace.

Arriving officers found an adult female suffering lacerations to the arm.  The victim refused to be transported by ambulance for treatment, however the Sheriff’s Office was later informed that she did eventually arrive at the E.R. by private vehicle where she was treated and released.

“We do have the identity of the other person involved in the disturbance, but have not had an opportunity to interview her yet,” Sheriff Pace said. “So at this time, no arrests have been made.”

This matter remains under investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.  Vicksburg Daily News will bring you more information as it becomes available.
