Apply for your alligator season permits by June 8

The 2022 10-day public water alligator hunting season begins at 12:00 p.m. on August 26 and runs through September 5. A total of 960 permits will be available within seven hunting zones across the state.

You may apply online for a permit beginning at 10:00 a.m. on June 1 and concluding at 10:00 a.m. on June 8. You must be a resident of Mississippi and at least 16 years old at the time of application. Any nonresident with a Mississippi Lifetime License is eligible. Learn more or apply by clicking here.
