Area Crime Report

We received the following report from Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department.

On February 28, 2011 at 1:27 pm in the 1000 block of Common Circle stolen was a Sony 60″ flatscreen TV valued at $1200.00 and a WII game system valued at $200.00

The Warren County Sheriff’s Department reported that there was no significant activity in the last 24 hours. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported no crime in the area but officers were on the scene of an early morning traffic accident near the Hinds-Warren County line on Highway 80.  The two-car accident occurred around midnight on the bridge spanning the Big Black River.  There were three people injured in the crash and the bridge sustained damage as well.  The state was notified about the damage to the bridge and inspectors will be out to survey the damage today.]]]]> ]]>
