Area Crime Report – April 11, 2011

April 8, 2011 At 7:09 am VPD arrested Maquis McCroy, age 29 of 902 Blossom Lane, for Sale of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine after a search warrant was executed at 2908 Arcadia Place. McCroy is being held without bond. At 2:15 pm VPD arrested Antonio Tubbs, age 36 of 233 Smith Road, for Sale of Cocaine after undercover dug investigation. Tubbs is being held without bond and for Drug Court. At 7:58 pm VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 600 block of Rigby Street in which a HP computer, a Compact printer and a Kenwood stereo were reported stolen. April 9, 2011 At 2:11 pm VPD took a report of an auto burglary in the 3900 block of South Frontage Road of a 1993 Jeep in which $180.00 in cash was reported stolen. April 10, 2011 At 12:54 am VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 2200 block of East Main Street in which an X Box 360 game system was reported stolen. At 6:18 am VPD took a report of a Shooting into a Dwelling in the 100 block of Rivera Blvd. in which a residence and a 2003 Chevrolet truck where struck by gun fire after several shots were fired at the residence; No one was injured. At 6:18 am VPD took a report of a Shooting into a Dwelling in the 100 block of Alcorn Drive. in which a residence and a 1999 Ford Explorer where struck by gun fire after several shots were fired at the residence; No one was injured. At 8:05 am VPD took a report of shots fired at 2 females in the 1900 block of Baldwin Ferry Road. The females were not injured and gave police the description of a green Nissan Maxima with two black males in it as the suspect vehicle.

At 8:37 am police stopped a vehicle matching the description near Eastview Apartments and arrested Phillip Moore, age 28 of 1513 First North Street.

At 9:48 pm police arrested Eric Wallace, age 29 of 1415 Hayes Street, at his residence.

Both Moore and Wallace were charged with two counts of Attempted Aggravated Assault and are being held without bond pending their initial appearance.

At 7:02 pm VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Buena Vista Drive in which a Hi-Point 45 caliber handgun was reported stolen. April 11, 2011 At 1:17 am VPD arrested Clarissa Alexander, age 20 of 1313 Jefferson Street, for Domestic Third Offense after stabbing her ex-boyfriend Eric East, age 30, in the shoulder after a verbal argument. East refused medical treatment. Alexander is being held without bond pending her initial appearance.]]]]> ]]>
