At least 20 rounds fired into Vicksburg home

A house on Beresford Street in Vicksburg was the target of what is believed to be a drive-by shooting.

No one was injured; however, police believe at least 20 shots were fired into the home.

This evening, Sunday, Jan. 12, at around 9 p.m., Vicksburg Police officers were dispatched to a home on Beresford Street, near Washington and Bowmar streets, for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police found numerous shell casings in the roadway and witnesses claiming the shots were fired into the home.
