Authorities reveal Tiara Watson of Dallas is the person missing in Madison Parish

New details have been released surrounding the search for the occupant of an abandoned vehicle found outside of a Madison Parish home on Thursday morning.

At 8:23 a.m.,Thursday, a homeowner, Wesley Storz, noticed an abandoned vehicle which was left running and called 911 to alert authorities. Area law enforcement confirmed that the vehicle, a black Toyota, arrived at 8:03 a.m.,Thursday, parked and was left running.

Upon arrival, local law enforcement searched the still running vehicle and found a phone number which belonged to a family member who stated the owner, Tiara Watson, was not supposed to be in Louisiana.

Cameras in the area revealed a woman exit the vehicle and walk away. It was determined that the female, believed to be Watson, made a block which took her in between some houses. She was reported to have also jumped some fences and ended up at the levee that surrounds Delta.

Late Thursday night, Camera footage was obtained, with assistance from the Bridge Commissioner, which revealed the woman walking along the levee. More video is being retrieved to determine if she walked out of the area.
Law enforcement with the Madison Parish Sheriff, Louisiana State Police and Delta Marshals began searching the area and are continuing the search efforts. Assistance is also being received from law enforcement in Texas and Warren County. Airplanes and Helicopters are being requested to aid in the search.
Hopes are to find her alive and well.
Vicksburg and Warren County law enforcement have received information on the situation and are assisting as well. Warren County authorities have taken to searching the waters.
