Authorities seize 25 pounds of methamphetamine during Interstate 20 traffic stop


Rankin County authorities seized 25 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop along Interstate 20.
According to a report by WLBT, a Rankin County criminal interdiction deputy, Deputy Shack, stopped a white infinity on Interstate 20 for a traffic violation. The deputy suspected the vehicle may have contained contraband and conducted a search.
With the aid of K-9 “Voodoo”, 25 pounds of methamphetamine was found within the vehicle’s quarter panels. The driver, Jesus Armando Carrasco, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine.
