With the governor’s statewide stay-at-home order going into effect Friday, many people are out today making preparations to comply.

Lines of cars at Battlefield Drugs on Indiana Avenue have formed outside the store, which owner John Storey has temporarily closed to customers but not to service. Storey has employees with radios inside and out who are processing customer orders as expeditiously as possible.

Storey added three staff members including two pharmacists following the recent closure of the two Durst Drug locations.

Remember that picking up prescriptions, groceries or other health and safety essentials is allowed under the stay-at-home order.
