Beacham donates athletic apparel to Vicksburg High’s football team
Vicksburg native Rodney Beacham has decided to bless his former team, the Vicksburg High School Gators, with athletic gear from his up and coming brand, Fine King Friday Apparel.
Beacham, who once played for VHS, along with his staff, will donate track suits to the Gator football team.
“Everyone has their own way of giving back to the community, so this is my way,” Beacham said.
“FKF is more than just a day, it’s a lifestyle,” Beacham said. Where most people may think the brand is about a day, ‘Friday’, it’s how you carry yourself on a day-to-day basis ensuring that you’re tackling your weekly goals seven days a week to be successful/establishing future royalties.”
FKF is about ownership, royalty, work ethic, character, appearance, positive energy, and the feeling you get when you know you have done something good. Whether your Friday is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc., it’s about grinding, having the character of a king throughout the week and knowing that you have had a positive outcome.”
“It’s a unisex, so women can also wear the gear to represent a fine king in their lives.”
Beacham will personally deliver the apparel before the Gators host their playoff game on Friday against Cleveland Central. Friday is the first time the Gators have hosted a playoff game since Beacham was part of the team in 2008.
There’s a lot of meaning behind Beacham’s FKF brand. He spent much time preparing it and describes it as “We we’re all born as kings in some way or fashion so we should carry ourselves as such. Although we were not born in royalty, we can start it for our families and generations to come.”
“In addition, the energy we exert into Fridays should be exerted into every day of the week. Fine King Friday is beyond a day celebration, it is a lifestyle routine. A true man of confidence and stature an allure who personifies and embodies being a Fine King Friday daily.”
“Even though everyone is not born into royalty, we’re all kings and queens in some way and we should all put Friday’s energy into every day of the week,” Beacham said.
Beacham feels by everyone having a Friday’s energy, it will give the boost they need to fulfill all of their goals especially the Gators who are going into battle soon.
“I wanted to give this donation because Vicksburg High School is where it all started for me. It was my stepping stone to the moves I am making today and the lifestyle I am able to live. I want to give these kings something to look forward to and to let them know that everything comes with a cost and that cost is work, grind, determination, character, and the way you carry yourself. If you’re willing to pay that cost, you can be the boss.”
