Bear spotted in Vicksburg
A bear has been spotted twice in Vicksburg in the last couple of days.
On Tuesday, a child reported seeing a bear near the YMCA on Clay Street. Another sighting occurred on Wednesday around 2 p.m. A photo was taken of a small bear in the same vicinity.

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has been notified and are currently searching for the bear.
