Beautiful Things hosts grand opening event

Beautiful Things LLC is hosting a grand opening event at 3438 Halls Ferry Road.

The grand opening event is hosting free food, refreshments, giveaways and activities, such as face painting, for all to enjoy. The grand opening event will be hosted until 4 p.m. for those wishing to pay the boutique a visit and enjoy free food and fun activities.

“We have free refreshments for everyone. Bring your children, we have someone out here doing face painting for the kids,” stated Owner Millie Queen. “I might even get my face painted as well.”

The cozy shop offers a variety of items to catch the eye. “I do a little variety of things; purses, clothes – men’s and women’s – candles, oils and all that stuff,” stated Queen. “I sell a variety of things.”

“I started with baskets,” said Queen. “I made baskets and still make baskets. I’ll have baskets in here for the holidays.”

Queen has come a long way since starting with baskets and is excited to have her boutique to offer to the public.

“My company’s name is Beautiful Things and my logo is the eye. The eye represents beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” expressed Queen. “What is beautiful to me and what is beautiful to you may be two different things but it’s still beautiful.”
