Belhaven picks up its first win of the season

The Belhaven Blazers got their first win of the season against Rhodes College yesterday in Memphis.

The score stayed tight for most of the game. The Blazers were led by Brosnan Cooks, who put up 20 points and 15 rebounds to helps secure the 86-83 Blazer win.

Josh Roberts put up 11 points in the game, and Ryan Dupree also helped out by scoring 9 points.

The win marks the first victory this season for Belhaven, making their record this year 1-4. They go on to play the Berry College Vikings next Saturday, Dec. 21.
