Bertha Senith Blackledge, 1979 – 2023

Bertha Senith Blackledge (Sena) March 19, 1979, to July 20, 2023.
Sena was loved by many. She had a smile that would put you in a good mood no matter how much you were down. She was a very smart, talented, and awesome lady. She worked hard, providing for herself, and loved being able to get out and get to talk to people. She worked at McRaven Tour Home, Vicksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau, and the Coca Cola museum. She was in tourism for many years. She also worked at Mississippi Health Department before going to work at the Medical Associates of Vicksburg. She loved her job and loved the people she worked with, and once again being able to talk and talk and talk to people. She just had a way about her that would brighten your day. She loved her family, her church family and most importantly she loved her Jesus. She was not ashamed to tell you how much. It was evident that she lived a Godly life. Always striving to live more for the Lord. She had many talents; she was an artist, a painter, a photographer, and many others things. She loved to sing and so many times that’s what she was doing. Singing no matter where she was or what kind of day she was having. Whether it was on a grocery aisle at Walmart or in the House of God. Sena was such a passionate person. When she thought she had hurt your feelings she was not going to give up until she had apologized a thousand times, but that was Sena. She had a family that loved her and will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Major Blackledge, her step-father, Don Kenyon, a brother, Hank Blackledge and a sister, Pauline Ezell.
