Billy Max White, 1937 – 2021

Billy was born in Louisville, MS on October 18, 1937, the son of George Edward White and Virgie Flake White. After graduating high school in the 1950’s he made Vicksburg his home. He had a passion for tinkering with weed eaters and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Billy Ralph White; daughter-in-law Cindy White; granddaughters Leslie and Zanastacia White; brothers Danny White, Carvel White, Hubert White, Horace C. White and Truitt White.
He is survived by his son David White (Karen); daughters Brenda Harrison (Jimmy), Sandy Carney (Robert) and Lisa Webb (Wayne); sisters Annabelle Glass, Judy Bell and Peggy White (Gayland); grandchildren Renea Vines (Todd), Wayne White, Marcia Turner (Matt), Matt Harrison (Alecia), Eric Pell (Holly), Travis Pell (Mia), Hillary Burger and Ricky Burger; numerous great-grandchildren and sisters-in-law Carolyn White and Pat White.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, MS. Rev. Dwayne Kelsey will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Old Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville.
Pallbearers will be David White, Wayne White, Hardy Sumrall, Logan Sumrall, Travis Pell and Eric Pell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Wood, Billy McDuff, Todd Vines, Matt Harrison and Dr. Sam Pierce and staff.
