Black smoke seen by Warren County residents is nothing to worry about

Residents in the Warren County area may be seeing a plume of black smoke in the air. There is no cause for concern, according to Warren County Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs.

The smoke is stemming from a garbage fire on Redhawk Road.

Briggs has told the Vicksburg Daily News that the fire is safe and will burn itself out.
