Blues legend Bobby Rush to be honored with the key to the city on Thursday

Blues legend Bobby Rush will soon receive the key to the city of Vicksburg.

Mayor George Flaggs Jr. will present the key to the city to Rush at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Robert M. Walker Building Board Room.

He is being honored for his most recent Grammy Award. Rush won his first Grammy in 2017 with the album Porcupine Meat at the age of 83.
