Bobby Earl Lumpkin, Jr., 1980 – 2022

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bobby Earl Lumpkin, Jr on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at Greater Grove Street M.B. Church, 2715 Alcorn Dr. Vicksburg, MS. Bobby will lie in repose from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.

Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. with family being present from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Bobby began his career at Rainbow Casino as a slot technician. He continued his career as a technician with AT&T where he was employed until his untimely death.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend Henry Lewis, Sr., Jessie Lumpkin, Sr., and Jewel Mae Haggard Lumpkin.

BJ leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Keonte Lumpkin of Vicksburg, MS; his grandson, Kharhiem Marquise Lumpkin of Vicksburg, MS; mother, Gracie Fountain of Vicksburg, MS; father, Bobby Lumpkin, Sr., of Vicksburg, MS; stepfather, Dennis Fountain of Tallulah, LA; two sisters, Tangee Lewis and Shonqunettee Lumpkin, both of Vicksburg, MS; five brothers, Bobby J. Lumpkin and Zachery Conner, both of Vicksburg, MS, Tierre Vessel of Houston, TX, Raphael Scott of Marietta, GA, Nicholas Scott of Tennessee, and Trevor Mitchell of Tallulah, LA; his long- time friend/brother, David Thomas; a special companion, Shanika Griffin; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bobby Earl Lumpkin, Jr transitioned on Oct. 23 at the age of 42.
