A body found in a Lee County, Mississippi, lake on Monday has been identified.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green identified former Mississippi State University football player P.J. Jones, 27, from his fingerprints, reports WCBI.

The State Crime Lab in Pearl is investigating the cause of death; however, Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson said foul play does not appear to be involved and that his body was clothed when he was found.

Jones played for MSU from 2011 through 2014.
